SUNURA FAQ

Practical answers before you start Article 50 operations.

Use this page to understand what SUNURA does, what each plan includes, what evidence means, and where customer responsibility starts.

The core idea

A banner alone is weak evidence. SUNURA helps customers decide which Article 50 disclosure applies, deploy it, verify it live, and keep operational evidence that can be reviewed later.

Operational proof

Versioned notices, widget hashes, logs, screenshots, and exports.

Customer boundary

SUNURA provides workflow evidence; customers remain responsible for legal interpretation and actual deployment.

Basics

EU AI Act and Article 50

What is Article 50?

Article 50 is the EU AI Act transparency section. It can require notices when people interact with AI, when content is AI-generated or manipulated, when biometric or emotion-recognition systems expose people, and when deepfake or public-interest AI content is published.

Who should care?

AI product providers, deployers, agencies, publishers, consultants, and businesses using customer-facing chatbots, generated content, synthetic media, or sensitive AI workflows in the EU market.

When does it apply?

Article 50 transparency obligations apply from 2 August 2026. Teams should prepare early because product, legal, privacy, editorial, and operations controls usually need time to align.

Does SUNURA replace lawyers?

No. SUNURA provides operational controls, evidence, reports, and workflow structure. Borderline legal interpretation should still be reviewed by qualified counsel.

Workflow

How SUNURA evidence is created

1

Classify the AI use case and the provider/deployer role.

2

Generate the required disclosure text, widget configuration, or publication notice.

3

Deploy the widget/plugin/API integration where real users interact with the AI feature.

4

Capture operational evidence that the disclosure was served, visible, versioned, and hash-recorded.

5

Export the evidence package when a customer, auditor, counsel, or regulator asks for proof.

Plans

What each plan means

Free scanner

A public lead scan only: one website scan, preliminary AI transparency scan result, detected AI/chatbot/script signals, and a basic SUNURA-branded recommendation. It is not a workspace and has no evidence vault, history, API, or recurring evidence capture.

Pro Trial

A new registered workspace starts as a 14-day Pro Trial. It is for evaluation, security review, SDK checks, and workflow testing. It does not charge unless the customer upgrades through Stripe.

Basic

For small deployers implementing disclosure notices, widget/plugin deployment, basic evidence capture, public verification page, limited API automation, and PDF evidence export.

Pro

For production teams that need verified live disclosures, Article 50 workflows, PDF/CSV/JSON/ZIP evidence exports, public verification, SDK/API automation, and stronger evidence operations.

Agency

For consultancies and managed-service providers operating SUNURA across multiple client websites, applications, and evidence pages with white-label delivery.

Enterprise

For contracted deployments with SSO/SAML, dedicated EU hosting, custom DPA, advanced governance, contractual SLA, and optional key-custody plus C2PA-compatible evidence workflow support where contracted.

Definitions

Terms used in pricing and dashboards

TermMeaning
Website/appA managed deployment surface: website, application, chatbot, mobile web flow, CMS, kiosk, or publication workflow.
AI use caseOne AI feature or workflow that requires a decision record, such as chatbot onboarding, AI image publication, biometric demo, or generated public-interest text.
Evidence captureA verification action that records live deployment evidence: timestamp, DOM result, screenshot proof, widget version, disclosure hash, and audit event.
API callOne authenticated request from a SUNURA SDK, plugin, widget, CMS, app, or server integration.
Evidence packageA downloadable evidence package containing decisions, logs, evidence captures, hashes, public verification references, and exports in the formats allowed by the plan.
Public verification pageA shareable SUNURA page where a customer, reviewer, auditor, or partner can confirm the evidence status for a disclosure deployment.

Important responsibility boundary

SUNURA helps customers operationalize disclosure workflows, verification, and evidence. The customer must still install the widget/plugin/API integration on the real system, keep notices accurate, choose the correct legal basis where needed, and obtain legal advice for borderline cases.
